i got myself a new toy! Been waiting for weeks to get my hands on this gadget after much influence from Adam, and loads of research over the internet such as reviews and such. I got myself the Blackberry Bold (probably on the day the Blackberry Storm released but WHATEVER!)

The moment i saw it i fell in love with the design right away, it is way much better looking than the Blackberry Curve. And after learning about whatever this phone can do, it was practical that i get it (no mom it wasn't a waste of money)

it fits comfortably on the palm of my hand

it has a cool user interface, you can scroll through applications using the rollerball as you can see in the picture.

it allows me to keep connected to all my instant messaging programs at anytime, MSN, Yahoo, Gmail, you name it, you got it. And it also has a specific messenger program called the Blackberry Messenger where you can instantly msg another friend of yours that has a Blackberry phone

nowdays you can't go anywhere without checking your facebook. sometimes you just want to update your status but can't find the nearest wifi spot for your laptop or a nearby Cybercafe, well facebook on the Blackberry has defintely made it possible for me to bring facebook along with me where ever i go.

me and Adam were attending an event in Cheras, being the goons we are, we were totally lost in the heart of Cheras, but thanks to the Bold's GPS, we managed to find out where out exact destination was, kudos to Google Maps who updated all the streets of Malaysia

And of course other than that, the Blackberry is well known for the fact that you can retrieve your mail with your mobile phone, nobody does it better than Blackberry.

This would be by far the best mobile phone i've ever owned, and now i'm broke, dang it! >.<

Greetings to all earthlings! ;)

how have you been? its been ages since my last entry and i apologize, i will make an effort to update this blog as much as i can.

a couple of things you would need to take note, i've been getting emails from all over asking me why i'm not on the Top30 countdown anymore. As of last week, 10th of November 2008, i have been moved to a new show together with a new partner and that is the Hitz Party which airs weekdays 8pm to 12 midnight.

I'm doing the show together with Adam C and we are hoping that our efforts will keep you entertained (cross our fingers!).

there's gonna be loads of exciting stuff happening on the Hitz Party, but for now, me and Adam are just trying to get more comfy working the night shift, which means BYE BYE to all movie premiers and cool concerts (NooooooooooOoOoOoooo!)

But hey, at least we still have to to hang out with us (We hope)

until my next entry! i promise it wont be just words the next round

Ahh! just got back from DOTA, yes my first time playing tonight and i have Adam to thank for getting me hooked to it. it would be great if you could join us on our DOTA adventures as well.

Anyways, Nick and Tim came into the studios today to co-host the hitz high school musical party with us. it was a pleasure having them on air and looking forward to hang out with them in future, i hear Tim's a DOTA expert.

Now we know there were some of you that couldn't make it to the show tonight mainly because of exams and other stuff, but don't worry, plenty of chances for you to come hang out with us at the hitz studio aight? i promise!

On another note, current game i'm playing on my PS3 is FIFA 09 and, the most anticipated game of the year, Little Big Planet! the game's awesome and it allows you to express your creativity. Better yet, i love the online play. So if you're up for it, add me up on your Playstation Network, my PSN ID is: JinLim

Controversial pop star Katy Perry suffered through an embarrassing series of incidents at the MTV Latin American Music Awards in Mexico after face planting into a cake.

Perry, 23, was performing her hit single I Kissed a Girl at the awards ceremony when she decided to end by jumping face first into a giant pink cake.

After wiping frosted icing from her eyes, the singer decided to throw some at her guitarist, only to keep slipping over on the cake-smeared floor.

Each time the singer tried to stand up, she ended up flat on the floor again.

A red-faced Perry finally left the stage by crawling on her hands and knees.

Alrights! i promised updates! Soul Nation Day one was awesome! here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure. Videos will come soon! its pretty hard editing videos when you're all pumped out after a great show. But i have to say Akon stole the night with his heart warming performance! he really knows how to connect with his fans.

That's IZ who performed together with Nu-Firm and Che'Nelle

He's got hot dancers as well! and of course after him, was Che'Nelle

More updates after Soul Nation day 2!

Hello from the land down under! well not Australia, but yeah technically Jakarta's still under Malaysia so wahtevs.

Today was the first official day of our trip even though we arrived yesterday. We started the day early by heading out for tours. We went to place called Taman Mini and it showcases all the traditional cultures of Indonesia.

Before Taman Mini we made a short pit stop at the Monumas which was about 10 minutes away from our hotel

We then headed off to Taman Mini

Now apparently the Minangkabau tribe's women are the dominant ones. The women would live in lavish houses and be treated like a queen while the men gets a small hut and would have to attend to their every need. But that's not it, if any Minangkabau Men would want to Marry a Minangkabu Woman, they would have to prove themselves by jumping over a rock

its quite high mind you :P The reason the men had to do this was because the women only wanted to marry someone who was strong!

Remember those guys you've seen on discovery channel using Baboo Shoots to cover their *huhus*? yeah well they're from Indonesia too. They're called the Papua Tribe.

we headed to a place called the Komodo, where they had a live Komodo Dragon for the public to take pictures with. Yes that picture above does no justice to show how big it is, maybe the next picture will

That's Loo, one of our HOTLINK winners. Yes so its huge ain't it? I didn't dare go near the Komodo Dragon because it hasn't eaten for a week. Apparently it can finish 7 Chickens in 1 minute (maybe that's where Nat's chickens went). But i did take the following picture...

Not so daring as Loo but whatevs:P

Aight i gotta head on down to the hotel lobby right now as we're heading off to Istora Senayan for the Soul Nation Festival and Che'Nelle's performance starts in an hour. Stay tuned for more details guys!

What's up! Jin here blogging live from the Airport as we are waiting for our boarding time to head on down to Jakarta Indonesia for the Soul Nation Concert where we will catch Che'Nelle, Akon and Ashanti. Its gonna be awesome and we're gonna be giving you video updates from time to time.

Remember you can keep in touch with me by SMS-ing Jin<space>Your Name<Space>Your Message then send to 32111 and i will reply them all ok? We might be meeting the stars so if you have any questions or requests, do send them in

Alright, its time to board the plane, will blog again when i hit the hotel. Laters!

First and foremost, Selamat Hari Raya! Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Hope you had a great one this round. The month October is finally here and its been a busy week for me, doing the Hitz Party from 8-12 midnight and right away staying on for the Morning Crew Show from 6-10am together with Adam C

Aren't we a lovely couple? hahahaha. but yeah, my biological clock is pretty much screwed (picture taken from www.kinkybluefairy.net thanks Joyce!)

But anyhow, today i sorta rewarded myself, by getting myself a pair of shoes! They are called Nike SBs Skate or Dies.

Aren't they cool! apparently they sold out a long time ago but i managed to source for someone who's selling them at a very reasonable price! (these shoes are currently reselling for around USD 250), email me if you want a pair for yourself, haha Jin@hitz.fm

If you didn't know, i've recently caught the sneaker freaker bug. Yes i started collecting sneakers, especially them Nike SB Shoes, some of the designs are to die for and some shoes you'd even have to stand in line for 6 hours for (of course i didn't do that). But a friend of mine actually stayed in line for 12 hours to get a pair of Nike SB Tiffanys in Australia (google it and you'll find it). That shoe retailed for about RM 329 and the market price stands now at a mere RM 1,500. Yes some of these sneakers appreciate.

Recently i went for Sole What's 1st year anniversary, where they were showcasing a whole line of shoes bound to be released in 2009.

They're a sneaker shop located at Gardens Mid Valley and you should go check out the range of shoes they have there. I think the next purchase for me would be their 2009 Nike Terminator Lows.
